OWASmooth joins Batch 8 of the CASSINI Business Accelerator

We’re happy to join the small group of Slovak companies that have taken part in CASSINI. The programme gives us a chance to explore how our work on sensor data processing can help in space.

At OWASmooth, we improve sensor data quality and reduce data volumes, even on devices with limited computing power. For satellites, that raises a practical question. Can we process data on board before downlink so there’s less to send while keeping the information that matters?

Through CASSINI, we’ll meet teams that build satellites and work with their data. We’d like to learn where they run into problems and work together to test our approach on real satellite data.

Thank you to the CASSINI team for giving us the chance to take this first step into the space industry.
